Advancement Troop 605 has a goal of attending Jamboree 2010 with as many Eagle Scouts, Life Scouts, and Star Scouts as possible. More on Advancement News! Fundraising Greg Butler reports that our troop goal is to raise $3,000 and we have raised $800 as of November 12, 2009. Secretary’s Report Bill Hall Reports that we have all 36 Scouts for Troop 605. He requests that all Personal Resource Sheets and Code of Conduct forms be turned in ASAP! Treasurer’s Report We have a Troop Budget of $6,750 for our Troop 605. Troop Dues will be $100 per Scout to provide for troop activities before Jamboree 2010. We will have troop fund raisers to earn about $2,400 needed beyond troop dues. Troop Dues per Scout of $75 by April 30th and $100 by May 31st are requested. Webmaster’s Report JamboreeTroop605.com and the Jamboree Troop Blog have been available since early March. 2009 Webmaster Dave requests Scout advancement information for recognition of our Scouts. Scoutmaster Doug Later has been in Scouting all his life and has been a Scoutmaster for years with Troop 893 in Sandy, UT. He is Wood Badge trained. SM Doug holds the Silver Beaver Award, which is the highest recognition a Scout Leader may receive from the local council. ASM Roark Stratton is an Eagle Scout and has been Wood Badge trained. He has served as an 11-year old Scout Leader. ASM Kevin Later has been a registered Scout for 44 years and holds the Silver Beaver Award. He has attended the National Jamboree in the past. ASM David Wilson is an Eagle Scout and has been Wood Badge trained. He has attended the National Jamboree in the past. |
